Caleb Williams is earning respect from the greatest of all time, Tom Brady. The Chicago Bears quarterback enters his third NFL season as one of the fastest-rising signal-callers in the league.
The 24-year-old threw for 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2025, setting a Bears franchise passing record. He engineered an NFL-record seven fourth-quarter comebacks.
Under coach Ben Johnson’s guidance, Williams helped transform a perennial cellar-dweller into a contender. Chicago went 11-6, claimed the NFC North title and earned the franchise’s first playoff win since 2010.
After such a remarkable turnaround, Williams has caught the attention of NFL royalty Tom Brady.

Two words from the greatest quarterback of all time carry significant weight. The validation arrives at the perfect moment.
The Bears have retooled aggressively during the offseason to give Williams every weapon he needs to build on 2025. Chicago added safety Coby Bryant, linebacker Devin Bush and center Garrett Bradbury. They also brought back fan favorites like Jack Sanborn and Case Keenum.
Williams enters 2026 with Brady’s stamp of approval, a revamped roster and unfinished business. If the GOAT says he’s next, Chicago fans have every reason to believe it.
