Strellson Showdown

The Strellson Showdown marked a groundbreaking milestone as the very first hybrid Fortnite tournament ever staged. Our objective was crystal clear: to curate an exceptional event that would amplify Strellson’s brand recognition as the go-to fashion label for young men. Additionally, we aimed to enlist some of the most prominent figures in the European Fortnite community as brand ambassadors for Strellson.

Ovation orchestrated the gathering of six renowned Fortnite professionals at a meticulously designed gaming house and state-of-the-art production studio located in Germany. To ensure we captured every moment in style, a team of skilled videographers and photographers were recruited, all working diligently to encapsulate Strellson’s latest fashion releases alongside these Fortnite stars. The content generated from this creative collaboration served as the catalyst for building excitement and anticipation across various social media platforms in the lead-up to the tournament.

On the climactic second day, we streamed the tournament’s grand finale directly from our studio within the gaming house. Meticulous preparations spanning several weeks culminated in a top-notch live stream production. Here, the six star players went head-to-head on-site, while an additional 94 Fortnite professionals battled it out remotely from their homes.

The results were nothing short of extraordinary. The Strellson Showdown achieved resounding success, capturing the attention and engagement of millions of Fortnite enthusiasts all across Europe.

Sony made its foray into the gaming industry with the introduction of its new brand, Inzone. To herald the brand’s debut in the GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) region, Ovation eSports orchestrated an immersive 10-day bootcamp, featuring a dynamic blend of eSports athletes and content creators.

The primary objective of this campaign was twofold: firstly, to cultivate a substantial organic reach and brand recognition for Inzone; and secondly, to rigorously field-test the brand’s products in real-world gaming scenarios. In doing so, Ovation aimed to seamlessly fuse the competitive spirit of eSports with the more laid-back world of casual gaming.

At the heart of this unique initiative, Sony’s product managers journeyed from the UK to actively engage with Ovation’s athletes. Hours upon hours were devoted to in-depth feedback sessions, where valuable insights were gleaned through robust discussions about Sony’s products. This direct interaction allowed Sony to gain invaluable perspectives and refine their offerings, aligning them more closely with the preferences and expectations of their target audience.

In summary, this multifaceted collaboration between Sony, Ovation eSports, and a carefully curated group of eSports athletes and content creators not only generated a buzz around the Inzone brand but also paved the way for enhanced product development and alignment with the dynamic gaming landscape of the GSA region.
