One player fits like a glove with the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Let’s take a look at who one outlet believes it to be and why they feel that way.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price is listed as a perfect fit for the Seattle Seahawks<\/h2>\n

The Athletic’s Nick Baumgardner and Scott Dochterman wrote an article discussing fits for NFL draftees and teams<\/a>. One of the players who was highlighted was Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price<\/a>, fitting him with the Seattle Seahawks. Below is what Baumgardner wrote about the fit:<\/p>\n

“Notre Dame\u2019s other outstanding running back, Price, had no problem shining through Jeremiyah Love\u2019s enormous shadow. Despite being a clear No. 2 RB in college (to arguably the best player in this draft), Price has the goods to grow into a lead NFL back \u2014 possibly sooner than later.<\/p>\n

“Price\u2019s first step and ability to sink before exploding into a cut make him a terror in the box and off the edge. He\u2019s an explosive kick returner who isn\u2019t afraid to run people over. With the loss of Kenneth Walker III, and with Zach Charbonnet rehabbing from winter ACL surgery, Seattle is in the market for a difference-making back. (Nebraska\u2019s Emmett Johnson, Wake Forest\u2019s Demond Claiborne, Washington\u2019s Jonah Coleman or Arkansas\u2019 Mike Washington Jr. are other names to watch.)<\/p>\n

“Price is the best of the bunch behind Love, and he should be ready to compete for starting carries quickly. Price absolutely could be available for Seattle at No. 62 and could even be worth a slight trade-up, if need be.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Price was the RB2 for the Fighting Irish. In 41 games across three seasons, he had 280 rushing attempts for 1,692 yards (6.0 yards per carry) with 21 rushing touchdowns and 15 receptions for 162 yards (10.8 yards per catch) with three receiving touchdowns. For Seattle, they need to replace Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III’s production. With the offense having top wide receiver options with Jaxson Smith-Njigba and Rashid Shaheed, they can use a running back like Price to be a weapon out of the backfield.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
