Caitlin Clark and Reggie Miller are household names in Indiana. The Indiana Fever star has been tearing it up for her squad ever since they drafted her in 2025. Clark is already a two-time WNBA All-Star and the recipient of the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award. On top of that, she also led the assists in her first season in the league.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for Miller, he spent his whole 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers. He averaged 18.2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.1 steals per game his whole career. Miller was a five-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA Third Team. The sharpshooter is part of the NBA\u2019s 75th Anniversary team and is <\/span>inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reggie Miller speaks out about the infamous Caitlin Clark incident<\/b><\/h2>\n

The two Indiana legends appeared on NBC\u2019s NBA pregame show for the New York Knicks vs the Los Angeles Lakers game on Feb. 1. The 24-year-old Fever star made her broadcasting debut as a guest commentator alongside the Pacers legend.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the broadcast, Miller praised Clark as Indiana\u2019s top shooter. He ranked Clark first, Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton second, and himself third. However, the incident came right after Miller said <\/span>who Clark reminds him of in the NBA<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pacers legend compared Clark to Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard. He said that the 28-year-old guard handles the ball well and makes big shots late in games. Miller said that Clark shared those traits and that she isn\u2019t afraid of the big moments.<\/span><\/p>\n

The statement drew the ire<\/a> of WNBA and NBA fans alike.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, Clark made her second guest commentator appearance, joining another NBC Sports broadcast. The Fever guard was once again joined by the Pacers legend during the pregame show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miller jokingly addressed the incident during the pregame broadcast.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not gonna break our bond, people,\u201d Miller said, referencing her much-talked-about Clark-Pritchard comparison. \u201cFever-Pacers, we\u2019re bonded together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
