Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been busy this WNBA offseason. The Iowa native led Team USA to an undefeated run in the FIBA Women\u2019s World Cup Qualifier in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old sharpshooter was named the tournament MVP<\/a> as she averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists. Clark also led the qualifiers in assists and ranked in the top five in points per game.<\/p>\n

Clark is now preparing for her third WNBA season. Last year, she managed to play in only 13 games due to recurring injuries. The two-time WNBA All-Star comes back hungrier than before as she aims to lead the Fever to a championship.<\/p>\n

After Clark\u2019s successful run with Team USA, many are excited for her return to the Fever. She was recently a special guest photographer<\/a> at Gainbridge Fieldhouse when the Indiana Pacers hosted the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n

Many Fever fans were excited to see their star guard in attendance and taking pictures of the NBA action. This generated even more excitement among the fans as the former Rookie of the Year gears up for the new WNBA season.<\/p>\n

As for the Fever, they are now finalizing their preseason schedule as they ramp up their preparation for the upcoming campaign. Their first preseason matchup will be against the New York Liberty on April 25. They will then host Clark\u2019s USA teammate Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on April 30.<\/p>\n

Indiana announced that it has added a game to its schedule. They will host the Nigerian national team on May 2 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.<\/p>\n

The Fever made the announcement on an Instagram post from their official account. Clark is front and center of the post as she will lead Indiana against D\u2019Tigress. International competition is now familiar ground for the Team USA MVP. However, she will be going into the contest with her Fever teammates this time around.<\/p>\n

Fans quickly took notice of the Fever’s Clark-centered announcement.<\/p>\n

“The Caitlin Clark EFFECT is about to be ACTIVATED once again. Can’t wait to see CC doing what she does BEST and can not wait to see my FEVER LADIES back in ACTION…” a comment on Instagram read.<\/p>\n

“Caitlin \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc10AB bow bow bow \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udd25\u26f9\ufe0f\u200d\u2640\ufe0f”said another.<\/p>\n

“CAITLINNNNNN\ud83d\ude0d” a user wrote.<\/p>\n

“Can hardly wait to see you playing again CC!” a reaction read.<\/p>\n

“Ouuu I love this. Nigeria’s got a good team!” another said.<\/p>\n
