Caleb Williams is only<\/span> getting better<\/span><\/a> as the Chicago Bears quarterback. His passer rating has improved from 87.8 in his rookie year to 90.1 in\u00a0 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Williams was drafted first overall by the Bears during the 2024 NFL Draft. It was no surprise, as he topped the ESPN consensus rankings before the draft. Draft experts Mel Kiper Jr., Matt Miller, Steve Muench, Jordan Reid and Field Yates<\/span> all ranked him the number one quarterback<\/span><\/a> in his class.<\/span><\/p>\n

True enough, Williams did not disappoint in his rookie year. He<\/span> started in all 17 games<\/span><\/a> and had a completion rate of 62.5%. He had a total of 3,541 yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chicago Bears’ Caleb Williams owns clutch quarterback title<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Following an incredible second season, Williams<\/span> is now at the very top among NFL quarterbacks when it comes to clutch situations<\/span><\/a>. With ice in his veins, Williams led the Bears to a record-setting seven fourth-quarter comebacks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Williams established himself as the<\/span> NFL clutch king<\/span> in 2025. A testament to this fact is that he had the most first downs or touchdowns (31) when tied or trailing by one possession in the fourth quarter or overtime.<\/span><\/p>\n
