The Chicago Bears<\/a> had quite the busy day on Thursday. First, they traded wide receiver DJ Moore<\/a> to the Buffalo Bills<\/a> for a second round pick. This move freed up millions of dollars in salary cap space that the team can use to address other needs on their roster.<\/p>\n

Not long after the trade was announced, it was also revealed that Chicago had released linebacker Tremaine Edmunds<\/a> in a move to free up even more salary cap space. The Bears had previously given Edmunds permission to seek out a trade. However, it is obvious now that no suitors could be found.<\/p>\n
