Connor Bedard keeps adding to his growing list of accomplishments, earning the NHL’s third star of the month on Tuesday after powering the Chicago Blackhawks through November. He produced 23 points in 14 games with 10 goals and 13 assists, and he led the league by setting up 11 of those assists as primary helpers.
Bedard now ranks third in the NHL with 37 points through the first 25 games of the season. The 2023 top overall pick also shares fifth place with 16 goals and holds a tie for ninth with 21 assists.

The young Blackhawks star played a part in 52.3 percent of the team’s goals in November and helped guide Chicago to a 6-5-3 record. He also landed among the NHL’s top performers for the month, finishing tied for fifth in power play assists with six, tied for sixth in goals with ten, tied for sixth in power play points with eight, tied for ninth in assists with thirteen, and tied for eleventh in shots on goal with fifty-two.

In his 14 outings, Bedard consistently made an impact and recorded a point in 10 of those games. He went without a point only four times, matching the number of three point efforts he delivered in November. He reached at least three points on November 7 against Calgary with one goal and three assists, November 9 against Detroit with one goal and two assists, November 18 against Calgary with a hat trick, and November 30 against Anaheim with two goals and two assists.
The Blackhawks sit only one point outside a wildcard position in the Western Conference with an 11-9-5 record, and Bedard has pushed them into that mix. He leads the team in goals, assists, and total points and has built a gap of sixteen points over Tyler Bertuzzi, who ranks second on the roster. Only eight Chicago players have reached double figures in points this season, while Bedard is already closing in on forty and continues to set the pace for the entire group.

Bedard is rapidly emerging as one of the league’s most dominant players early in his third NHL season, while the NHL’s monthly honors highlighted two other standout performers.
Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon earned the top star for November with 26 points on 11 goals and 15 assists in 13 games, and Dallas winger Jason Robertson secured the second star by matching that 26-point output with 13 goals and 13 assists across 15 contests.
