The Chicago Bulls are a young team that has some intriguing decisions to make about its roster this offseason. The front office has some young players, but there are potential free agents who can complement the roster well. One outlet discussed possible additions, so let’s see who the franchise can go after.
The Chicago Bulls can go after Mitchell Robinson this offseason

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report wrote an article discussing free agent targets for each team. He highlighted realistic, optimistic, and dream free agents for all 30 teams. For the Bulls, Buckley listed New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson as a realistic option for them. Below is what he wrote about this connection:
“The Knicks might appreciate the heck out of Robinson’s bounce and presence on the glass, but they surely have a walk-away price point given his lengthy injury history. And Chicago can surely afford to offer whatever that number is. When he’s upright, he’s as active as anyone on the interior and above the rim.”
Robinson is a big man of an older era, not having much range and grabbing rebounds down low. He is having a bit of a down season statistically so far, limited to just 19.5 minutes per game. Robinson is averaging 5.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game coming off the bench.
Chicago will certainly need to figure out what they are doing at the center position this offseason. Zach Collins and Nick Richards are unrestricted free agents, while Lachlan Olbrich is a restricted free agent this offseason. The Bulls’ front office is going to need to get help with the frontcourt, but there are risks to signing Robinson. It will be intriguing to see how they decide to attack free agency this offseason with a young core.
