Caleb Williams and Colston Loveland built quite a partnership last season for the Chicago Bears.
As the organization’s cornerstone quarterback, Williams had a big year for the Bears in his second season. The 24-year-old registered 330-of-568 completed passes for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 17 games. Williams also added 388 yards and three TDs on the ground on 77 carries.
Loveland, on the other hand, was a key addition to the Williams-led offense. Selected as the 10th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the former Michigan Wolverines star quickly settled in under head coach Ben Johnson’s tutelage.
Loveland made 16 appearances for Chicago in his rookie year, logging 713 yards and six touchdowns on 58 catches.

Williams and Loveland figure to be the cornerstones of Chicago’s future. Big things are expected from these two in 2026, especially after they led the Bears to the NFC North title last season with an 11-6 record. Chicago also made it to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2010.
Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland reacts to Caleb Williams’ offseason activity
At this point in the offseason, however, Williams and Loveland have been taking some personal time away from the team. Williams recently took to social media to share a life update. The 24-year-old QB posted a collection of random photos, including some snaps from his recent offseason activity.

Loveland was one of the Bears players who reacted to Williams’ post. The incoming second-year TE had just one word for his quarterback.
“Dubr,” Loveland commented.
Loveland added no context to his statement. However, the term “dub” is slang for “win,” and this appears to be the message Loveland is conveying here.
This is exactly what these two are expected to do with the Bears in 2026. Last season, they helped lead Chicago to its best regular-season record since 2018 with 11 wins. Williams and Loveland will look to carry that momentum into the upcoming season.
