It’s no surprise that rumors are flying that the Chicago Bears could trade backup quarterback Tyson Bagent.
Bagent proved within the last two years, that he’s one of the very best backup quarterbacks in the NFL. During Tuesday’s media session, general manager Ryan Poles confirmed that the team has received calls from other teams regarding Bagent’s availability.
The biggest question now is, what team will want to trade for Bagent?

The idea of Atlanta trading for Bagent does make sense, due to the team confirming they will be releasing veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins.
And with questions over starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. still looming, they might want to take a swing on a proven backup that deserves a chance.
With former Bears assistant general manager Ian Cunningham running the show in Atlanta, it’s very possible he could be interesting in bringing Bagent in.
