A highly speculated trade candidate has been fan favorite tight end Cole Kmet. Due to the emergence of Colston Loveland, Kmet has been a name to watch as a trade candidate.

The Bears insider told 104.3 The Score that it’s more likely that the Bears will “rework and extend his contract than trade him in the offseason”.
The Bears really value Cole Kmet, @BradBiggs says.
"They're not evaluating him through the lens of fantasy football statistics," he says.

Biggs noted that the Bears value Kmet “very highly”. He also mentioned the value Kmet has in both the run game and passing game from a blocking standpoint is a significant reason he’s likely to stay.
With how Ben Johnson loves to run a lot of 12 personnel in games, the idea of keeping Kmet makes too much sense.
The Bears have a clear tight end duo in both Kmet and Loveland that can last many years in the league.
