In a shocking development, the Chicago Bears might be back in play to trade for star pass rusher Maxx Crosby.
Just one day before a trade would be finalized, the Baltimore Ravens have backed out of their trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for the superstar pass rusher. It sent a shock wave through the NFL on Tuesday night just hours before the league year officially begins on Wednesday afternoon.
Now, with Crosby back on the market, what’s next?
Maxx Crosby could be back in play for the Chicago Bears

Via ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders confirmed in a statement that the trade with Baltimore has been cancelled, due to the Ravens backing out.

Shortly after, Dianna Russini of the Athletic confirmed that the trade was called off. The reason? Crosby not passing his physical.
Just like that, the star pass rusher could be very well in play for the Bears as well as other teams. There were reports that the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots were both interested in Crosby before he was traded.
As of now, no team has emerged this quickly but things could change in a hurry.
Due to Crosby not passing his physical, his trade value will likely go down as well. Could Ryan Poles pull off a stunning blockbuster move without giving up two first round picks? It will be interesting to see how teams handle this now with the Crosby news taking center stage.
