Before being selected as the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Loveland had a tremendous collegiate career with the Michigan Wolverines. He played three years for Michigan, helping lead the squad to a national championship in 2023.

Loveland played 39 games across three seasons, registering 1,466 yards and 11 touchdowns on 117 catches. By the time he finished his junior year, the Gooding, Idaho native had firmly established himself as one of the top prospects heading into the draft.

The two Indiana legends appeared on NBC’s NBA pregame show for the New York Knicks vs the Los Angeles Lakers game on Feb. 1. The 24-year-old Fever star made her broadcasting debut as a guest commentator alongside the Pacers legend.

During the broadcast, Miller praised Clark as Indiana’s top shooter. He ranked Clark first, Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton second, and himself third. However, the incident came right after Miller said who Clark reminds him of in the NBA.

The Pacers legend compared Clark to Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard. He said that the 28-year-old guard handles the ball well and makes big shots late in games. Miller said that Clark shared those traits and that she isn’t afraid of the big moments.

The statement drew the ire of WNBA and NBA fans alike. 

Most recently, Clark made her second guest commentator appearance, joining another NBC Sports broadcast. The Fever guard was once again joined by the Pacers legend during the pregame show.

Miller jokingly addressed the incident during the pregame broadcast.

Kyle Monangai was a revelation for the Chicago Bears last season.

The Bears selected the former Rutgers Scarlet Knights star in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft. There were some high expectations for the promising running back, and Monangai lived up to the hype in Year 1.

The 23-year-old played all 17 games in the regular season for Chicago. He finished the campaign with 783 yards and five touchdowns on 169 carries. Monangai also added 164 receiving yards on 18 catches.

He was no superstar, but there’s no denying that Monangai played a key role in the Bears’ 11-6 season. He also played both games in the NFL playoffs, registering 63 rushing yards and six first downs in the Wild Card and the Divisional rounds.

Indiana Fever All-Star Caitlin Clark emphatically announced her return to basketball. She did so by winning the Most Valuable Player award in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament earlier this month. The 24-year-old showed no rust following an eight-month injury layoff. She led Team USA to an unblemished 5-0 record in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

On Sunday, Clark put on a different hat. She resumed her role with NBC by making a guest appearance as an analyst in Sunday’s broadcast of the NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. This was Clark’s second time as a guest analyst for NBC. She made her sportscasting debut in January in a matchup between the Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers at Madison Square Garden.

Caitlin Clark has been a household name in the WNBA since she joined the Indiana Fever in 2024. In fact, one could argue that she is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ WNBA counterpart — at least in terms of their widespread fame.

The Indiana Fever star took the league by storm in her rookie season. She averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Clark also shot 34% from the three and 42% from the field.

When asked what name she would give to the photo that she took, Clark simply replied, “The King.” She added, “That’s my GOAT.”

“I swear we made eye contact,” she claimed. “So I set down the camera, and I smiled at him, and he just looked at me with a straight face. I was like, he didn’t even see me.”

Clark seemed a little bit embarrassed by her admission. She thought that James acknowledged her presence, only to be reminded that the Lakers superstar was totally locked in on the game.

Head coach Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears have been active in this NFL free agency. The 39-year-old is coming off his first year as an NFL head coach. Johnson led the Bears to an 11-6 finish in the 2025 season. They won the NFC North title, their first since 2018. It was also their best record in seven years.

In his first postseason as head coach, Johnson and the Bears defeated their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in the Wild Card round. Unfortunately, they failed to defeat the 2021 Super Bowl Champions, the Los Angeles Rams, in the Divisional Round.

Johnson is also keeping an eye on one player on the free agency list, former Detroit Lions offensive tackle Taylor Decker. Recently, Decker shared on his official Instagram account that he is parting ways with the Lions.

Johnson worked with Decker during their time together in Detroit, where the former was part of the coaching staff from 2019 to 2025. As the Lions’ offensive coordinator in 2024, he helped Decker improve his game and earn a Pro Bowl selection. 

After Decker parted ways with the Lions, reports emerged that Johnson “reached out” to the 10-year veteran. Johnson reportedly checked up on Decker as a friend, as he is going through a rough patch in his career.

It was also reported that Decker didn’t hear from Lions head coach Dan Campbell or general manager Brad Holmes after his release.

Johnson’s call was more friendly in nature. There is no indication that he attempted to recruit Decker to Chicago. However, this is not out of the question. 

After all, Johnson and Decker have history together, which they could potentially rekindle in Chicago this coming season.

“It’s a very unique situation. I think there’s over a hundred players in the league that are free agents,” she said. “So we really only know about five people, or three people that are going to be on our team next year. But I feel like we have a great core.”

The Iowa native also talked about their goals for the new WNBA season.

“So there’s nothing like playing for the Fever, I think we’re going to be the favorite to win it all,” Clark declared. “Adds a little pressure, but that’s what you love about it. We got a great squad, a great coach, great support staff, so it’s super-exciting.”

Colston Loveland had an impressive rookie season for the Chicago Bears. Loveland was the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old tight end played in 16 games, starting 11.

Loveland struggled early in his NFL career, only recording two catches and gaining 12 yards in his first two games. Despite that, he found his footing in Week 9 when the Bears faced the Cincinnati Bengals. The Michigan alum scored his first NFL touchdown during that game. He also scored the game-winning touchdown as he caught a 58-yard pass to secure the win.

The Bears rookie finished the season with 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is enjoying his NFL offseason — and rightfully so. The No. 1 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft had a big year for Chicago in 2025. After an impressive rookie campaign, Williams took the next step in his second season with the Bears.

Williams played all 17 games in the regular season, finishing with 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns on 568 completed passes. The 24-year-old led the Bears to an 11-6 record to clinch the NFC North title.

In the Wild Card Round, Williams threw for 361 yards and two touchdowns to lead Chicago to a 31-27 win against their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, the Bears fell to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, ending their incredible run.

Caleb Williams is only getting better as the Chicago Bears quarterback. His passer rating has improved from 87.8 in his rookie year to 90.1 in  2025.  

Williams was drafted first overall by the Bears during the 2024 NFL Draft. It was no surprise, as he topped the ESPN consensus rankings before the draft. Draft experts Mel Kiper Jr., Matt Miller, Steve Muench, Jordan Reid and Field Yates all ranked him the number one quarterback in his class.

Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai is taking his momentum off the field after a standout rookie season. 

The 23-year-old carried Rutgers to new heights in his 2024 senior campaign, racking up 1,279 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. He also set a program record with 707 career touches without a single fumble. His 3,221 career rushing yards rank second in Rutgers history, trailing only Ray Rice. 

The Bears took notice, selecting Monangai in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft with pick No. 233. He signed a four-year, $4.33 million rookie contract and is now paying it forward for Chicago’s youth.

Monangai began his rookie season as the backup behind D’Andre Swift, stepping up in Week 9 when Swift went down with an injury. He answered the call, rushing 169 times for 783 yards and five touchdowns while adding 18 receptions for 164 receiving yards on the season.

The Bears liked what they saw. Heading into Year 2, the promising running back is looking forward to an even bigger role in the backfield. 

The timing could not be better. Swift’s contract expires after the 2026 season, potentially opening the door for the former Rutgers star to take the reins in Chicago.

Kmet, an Illinois native, has spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Bears. He was selected in the second round of the 2020 draft.

WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark has just completed her first official senior international tournament for Team USA. She led the Stars and Stripes squad to an undefeated finish in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament earlier this month.

USA had a dominant performance in the qualifiers. In five games, they had a scoring difference of 210, leading the tournament. Team USA heads into the upcoming FIBA Women’s World Cup with a lot of momentum. It will be held in Germany in September of this year.

As for Clark, she dominated in her first senior national team experience. The Indiana Fever star led the tournament in assists with 6.4 a game. She was also in the top five in scoring as Clark finished with 11.6 points per game.

Clark also shot well in the qualifiers, shooting 40% from the field and 52.9% from three. This is an impressive feat for the 24-year-old  as she hasn’t played organized basketball since July 2025. 

Clark sustained recurring injuries during the 2025 season, limiting her to only 13 games. Despite that, she was still called up to represent Team USA in the qualifiers — and she didn’t disappoint.

Someone who knows a lot about representing the national squad is WNBA legend Diana Taurasi. She recently gave props to Clark and shared her thoughts on the Fever star’s future with the national team. Taurasi previously wore No. 12 for the U.S., the number Clark now dons for the Stars and Stripes.

“It’s so cool,” Taurasi said about Clark wearing No. 12 for Team USA. “I couldn’t think of anyone better to take it and to put it on and just have an amazing career.”

Caleb Williams took his game to a whole different level in his second season with the Chicago Bears. At the same time, however, the 24-year-old would be the first to admit that he would not have had the success he achieved in 2025 had it not been for his teammates. One of the revelations for the Bears and their Williams-led offense last season was rookie tight end Colston Loveland.

Chicago selected Loveland 10th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, indicating how much potential they saw in the former Michigan Wolverines star. Loveland rewarded the Bears’ trust with an impressive rookie campaign. The 21-year-old finished the season with 713 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 58 catches.

“It was definitely a long time coming because I wasn’t able to get with him in the summer,” Loveland admitted. “After practices, really starting Week 4, we hit every route we needed to hit. If we missed it in practice, we hit it. If we didn’t even get the rep in practice, we hit it. … So when it came to gametime, it was easy.”

Their newfound chemistry was evident, especially toward the latter part of the season. Loveland went off in his NFL playoffs debut for the Bears. The rookie caught eight passes from Williams for a season-high 137 yards. Thanks in large part to Loveland and Williams’ connection, the Bears took down their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in the Wild Card Round.

As Loveland admitted in his statement above, he did not get an opportunity to connect with Williams last summer. These two now have a full offseason together heading into 2026.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark is coming off an impressive offseason tournament with Team USA. Clark was part of the squad that participated in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers in Puerto Rico. This is the first time she represented the USA senior national team.

Clark led the Stars and Stripes squad to a 5-0 finish, the only undefeated team in the tournament. The Indiana Fever star is one of five players to average double digits in scoring for Team USA.

On top of that, she led the qualifying tournament in assists with 6.4 a game. Not bad for Clark’s first senior national team experience — especially after coming back from an eight-month injury layoff.

Even before entering the WNBA, Clark’s name was already buzzing because of her performance in the NCAA. The sharpshooting guard played four years of collegiate basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

In her four seasons with the Hawkeyes, Clark averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists. She led Iowa to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances. Unfortunately, Clark and the Hawkeyes failed to win the NCAA title, despite playing in back-to-back national championship games in 2023 and 2024. 

Clark dominated the collegiate basketball scene. She led the NCAA in both points and assists for three straight years. To top it all off, Clark is currently the NCAA Division I leading scorer. She broke “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s 54-year-old record.

The former Hawkeye previously appeared in the podcast of WNBA legend Sue Bird, titled “Bird’s Eye View.” Clark made a personal admission about one of her most memorable moments in college.  This came in the form of her go-ahead shot against Indiana in her junior year.

“How can I leave that off?” Clark said. “That might have been one of, like, the first true — obviously, that was my junior year, and we go on to make the final four. But that like really kick-started everything.”

Sophie Cunningham could have had one of the best WNBA seasons in her first season with the Indiana Fever in 2025. However, in August, she suffered an MCL tear in her right knee, ending the season for her. 

She incurred the injury following a collision in the second quarter of the Fever’s game against the Connecticut Sun.

Cunningham ended her season with the Fever, averaging 8.6 points on 46.9% from the field. The 6-foot-1 guard also shot 43.2% from the three-point area and added 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists. 

The injury did not dampen Cunningham’s spirit as she joined teammate Caitlin Clark on the sidelines. They cheered and motivated the rest of the Fever as Indiana reached the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs.

The Indiana Fever star averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists. Clark also shot 40% from three and 52.9% from the field. As for the Dallas Wings guard, she averaged 10.6 points, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals. Bueckers also shot an efficient 40% from three and 50% from the field.

The backcourt duo helped Team USA finish with an undefeated record heading into the FIBA Women’s World Cup in September.

During Bryant’s guest appearance on the “Up & Adams” show, the 26-year-old said he has asked Santos for his No. 8 jersey. Bryant wore the No. 8 as a Seahawk, a number currently worn by Santos in Chicago. The new safety wears the number in honor of NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

Bryant told Kay Adams that, “I got some things cooking up, but I’ve definitely reached out to him and asked him about the number eight.” According to the new Bears recruit, “He was very cool about it, so we’re trying to come to an agreement pretty soon.” 

“I don’t have a set number yet, I don’t want to speak too soon, but [I] definitely have two options,” Bryant added. Santos has not always worn the No. 8. Back in 2017, Santos wore No. 2, which is now vacant following DJ Moore’s trade. 

Should Santos decide to stick with No. 8, all is not lost for Bryant.

He said he is also considering 24, which Kobe Bryant also wore with the Los Angeles Lakers. The late NBA star had explained that wearing No. 8 proved he belonged in the league. Switching to 24 was a growth from that.

Byard signed a one-year, $9 million deal with the Patriots. In 2025, the 32-year-old was instrumental in Chicago’s remarkable run. He led the NFL with seven interceptions, earned First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors and helped the Bears win the NFC North title.

Byard continued: “I expect him to be one of the top quarterbacks, if not top 2 or 3, in the league. He’s got some Super Bowls in his sights as well.”

The veteran also pointed to what separates Williams when the stakes are highest. 

“I think Caleb almost wants to be in those moments more than just blow somebody out,” he said. 

“And we all wanna blow people out, of course. … That’s who he is, he’s a clutch player. He has a clutch gene that you literally cannot coach. I like to compare him to Michael Jordan. … The reason he’s probably the GOAT is that he has that gene.”

Ben Johnson’s first season with the Chicago Bears was a success. After 12 years as an assistant coach in the NFL, the Bears finally gave Johnson his first head-coaching opportunity. The 39-year-old rewarded Chicago’s decision by leading the team to an 11-6 record, which was their best regular-season finish since 2018. The dust has barely settled on Caitlin Clark’s incredible run in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament. The Indiana Fever point guard was the star of the show for Team USA, earning Most Valuable Player honors after leading her squad to a 5-0 record in the qualifiers.

Clark made just one start across five games, but she still averaged a team-high 21.2 minutes per contest. The 6-foot guard put up 11.6 points on 52.9% shooting, while also leading the entire tournament in assists with 6.4 per game. Clark also knocked down 1.6 triples per contest on a highly efficient 40.0% clip.

Clark is now back in the United States following her memorable senior debut for USA Basketball. Right now, the 24-year-old is gearing up for the upcoming WNBA season. The league and the players’ union recently agreed on a new CBA, ensuring that the WNBA season in May will proceed as scheduled.

Clark, however, attended to a personal matter on Sunday. She took to social media to celebrate the birthday of former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Jada Gyamfi. The Fever superstar sent an emotional message on Gyamfi’s special day.

They may no longer be teammates and are currently miles apart, but it is clear that their friendship remains strong.

Caitlin Clark and Team USA dominated the recently concluded FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They scored the most points in the tournament with 479. Team USA also had the best defense, only allowing 269 points scored against them.

Additionally, five players averaged 10 or more points for Team USA this tournament. On top of that, multiple Team USA players were included in the top five in points, steals, rebounds and assists for the tournament.

Kahlea Cooper is among the top three in points, Angel Reese for rebounds, Monique Billings for blocks and Paige Bueckers for steals. All this shows how the Americans really dominated this tournament.

Caitlin Clark leads Team USA atop the FIBA Women’s rankings

Team USA went undefeated in the tournament, posting a 5-0 record to win Group A. After their successful run, they solidified their place atop the FIBA World Women’s ranking. A big part of their success is the Clark. This is her first tournament with the senior national team, and she showed up. 

On Saturday, FIBA announced the updated rankings following the qualifying tournaments. Unsurprisingly, Team USA maintained its spot at No. 1.

Clark averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists in five games for Team USA. The 24-year-old sharpshooter was in the top four in scoring, and she led the qualifiers in assists. Because of that, she was named to the All-Star Five of the tournament. She was also named the tournament MVP.

Despite being away from organized basketball for almost eight months, Clark was still effective for USA Basketball. She was efficient this tournament, shooting 40% from three and 52.9% from the field.

Whether Clark was starting or coming off the bench, she provided the much-needed boost for Team USA. She provided the playmaking to keep the ball rolling for the team.

Clark will bring the momentum from her eventful offseason to the Fever as they try to win the WNBA Championship.

The Chicago Bears continue to build around quarterback Caleb Williams in preparation for the 2026 season. They want to carry on a successful 2025 campaign, wherein they finished with an 11-6 record. 

The Bears not only ruled the NFC North but also secured their first playoff win in 15 years. Credit for the 2025 season’s success was largely given to first-year coach Ben Johnson. 

Williams became even better in his second year as quarterback. He had the most passing yards with 3,942, a team record, in the season. Also making an impact for the Bears were the key player additions and strong performances from both rookies and veterans.

The Bears have undergone significant changes this offseason. They have parted ways with key players like DJ Moore and made significant additions. 

One thing they have kept is the average age of their players. Their lineup was one of the youngest last season, averaging at 26.23.

This upcoming season, the Bears core offense has Williams, 24, wide receiver Luther Burden III, 22, tight end Colston Loveland, 22. Added to that are wide receiver Rome Odunze, 24, running backs D’Andre Swift, 27, and Kyle Monangai, 24. It doesn’t get any younger with TE Cole Kmet, 27, and WR Jahdae Walker, 24.

Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears lost a good one in Kevin Byard. After spending the past two seasons in Chicago, the three-time Pro Bowl safety decided to move on and take his talents elsewhere in NFL free agency. Byard put pen to paper on a one-year, $9 million deal with the defending AFC champions, the New England Patriots.

Byard bids farewell to the Bears after a memorable 2025 campaign. It was one of the best seasons in the former third-round pick’s 10 years in the NFL. Byard played all 17 regular-season games for Chicago, registering an NFL-best seven interceptions and 93 combined tackles (61 solo).

Byard was named to the All-Pro first team squad for the third time in his career.

Byard recently spoke with NFL reporter Jordan Shultz about his move to New England. The 32-year-old also spoke openly about his time in Chicago. When asked about his experience under head coach Ben Johnson, Byard had nothing but good things to say about his former coach.

Byard also admitted, however, that out of his decade playing in the NFL, he experienced “the hardest training camp” under Johnson.

“I wasn’t expecting that from him,” Byard said. “… He was riling guys up like, ‘This is the black and blue division. It’s the NFC North.’”

Byard revealed that some of his teammates wanted him to talk to Johnson about how tough training camp was.

“I think it was fun in the point of guys coming in the locker room after practice like, ‘Bro, what just happened?’” Byard continued. “Certain guys coming, ‘KB, come on, Bruh, you’re captain. Bruh, you got to go talk to him.’ And I’m like, ‘Bro, what do you want me to say?’”

Byard has no regrets, though. He conceded that training camp under Johnson was anything but a walk in the park, but Byard also knows that all their hard work paid off.

“But when you look back at it, it was so worth it,” Byard said. “Because I think how this season kind of went, how good we were in a run game, especially on offense. And I just think how it was on defense, we needed that tough training camp.

“I think anytime you’re trying to go somewhere you’ve never been, you have to do something you’ve never done. And I think that was kind of his mentality. Like, we’re going to dramatically change everything that’s been done here because it hasn’t worked.

“The camaraderie that’s built from it and the bonds that are built from it — because you just basically went through, you know, hell week, but it’s like two or three weeks of it with your boys.”

The Chicago Bears continue to shore up their lineup,signing safety Coby Bryant to a three-year, $40 million deal. The Bears overhauled their safety unit this offseason with Kevin Byard off to the New England Patriots. 

The unit also saw Jaquan Brisker leave for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nashton Wright to the New York Jets and Jonathan Owens to the Indiana Colts. Owens arguably had the noisiest transfer as fans had mixed reactions to his wife, bemedalled Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.

The 2026 season hasn’t started yet, but Bryant is already marking one game, and that is against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks. At the “Up & Adams” show, Bryant told Kay Adams, “We actually play Seattle this year, in Seattle, so they better be ready for me, for sure.” 

The Seahawks drafted Bryant in 2022 as the 109th overall. He stayed in Seattle for four seasons.

In the same show, the 26-year-old Bryant admitted he has a lot to learn about the windy city. He said he was only in Chicago two years ago when the Seahawks played against the Bears.  

“I only been like two years ago, yeah I’ve been two years ago,” he said. “We played Chicago, and all I hear is the deep-dish pizza, not really a big of a fan of that. They might get on me about that, but I had to try the better deep dish pizza.”

One of the staples of Chicago is deep-dish pizza. It has a thick, pie-like crust with layers of cheese, toppings, and chunky tomato sauce.

Bryant’s first taste of the deep-dish pizza made him a non-fan of the popular Chicago dish.

“To be fair, it was after we played the Bears, so I don’t remember the name,” Bryant said. “It was kinda cold, a little bit too soft.”

The new Bears recruit, though, is willing to give it another try. “I can’t really go off that, so I might have to retry it.”

Her first season alongside superstar Caitlin Clark was a promising one. She settled into her role as the team’s enforcer, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. The seven-year vet also shot a career-high 43.2% from three-point range.

A torn MCL in August, however, limited her to just 30 games and ended her season early. Cunningham is eyeing a full comeback for the 2026 campaign. 

Beyond her on-court workouts, she has kept herself busy off the hardwood to make sure she arrives at full strength for the new season.

Cunningham has been grinding in the gym this offseason, leaning on Pilates as a key part of her recovery and conditioning. In the latest episode of her “Show Me Something” podcast, the Fever guard put the spotlight on her Pilates instructor. Cunningham gave the shoutout during the show’s “Hot Girls of the Week” segment.

“It has to be my Pilates instructor. Her name is Taylor. She’s a freakin’ beast. She kicks my [expletive], and I feel so good. So I’m just shouting out Taylor for getting me into shape,” she said.

Co-host and childhood friend West Wilson quipped that he hoped Taylor wasn’t going easy on her. Cunningham was quick to set the record straight. She shared a story about a springs mishap that turned an already tough abs session into something else entirely.

“She doesn’t. Listen to this. She messed up the springs last time, and I was doing these abs, and I’m like, ‘Wow’! I took a couple of days off, but I felt like I couldn’t do anything. And she’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t even do that.’ And she’s like a professional Pilates person. But she’s the best,” Cunningham added.

Thanks in large part to Williams’ strong play, the Bears clinched the NFC North title for the first time since 2018. They also progressed to the Divisional Round, where they succumbed to the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, 20-17.

Williams has earned a reputation for being a clutch performer for the Bears. This past season, his awe-inspiring fourth-and-8 play against the Green Bay Packers in the NFL playoffs gave birth to the “Iceman” moniker. Williams has embraced the title and is now looking to make it his own exclusively.

News emerged on Wednesday that Williams has applied for multiple trademark protections for the word “Iceman.” According to a report by NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk, records show that Williams’ camp has made multiple filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The application covers a wide range of merchandise as Williams looks to monetize on his well-known nickname.

While some fans are supporting the Bears star’s latest endeavor, more than a few others are calling out Williams’ decision.

“i feel like this is doing too much like its ok to have some confidence but aint this a little bit of an ego trip,” a comment on X read.

“Not a term he will have control over!!! Too many other athletes have used that term!! Sorry, Come up with some other nicknames!!!” another said.

“What a waste of money. Literally nobody calls him that. They all call him Cryin Caleb,” claimed a crtic.

Wednesday brought welcome news for Chicago Bears fans. The offseason has been a mixed bag for Ben Johnson’s squad as they look to build on a remarkable 2025 campaign. 

Chicago went 11-6, won the NFC North title and earned the franchise’s first playoff win since 2010. 

The Bears added safety Coby Bryant, linebacker Devin Bush and center Garrett Bradbury to bolster the roster. But wide receiver D.J. Moore was traded to Buffalo, while Kevin Byard and Tremaine Edmunds departed in NFL free agency.

Fans have not exactly been pleased with the front office’s moves thus far.  Bears supporters can exhale, however, after learning a fan-favorite defender is making his way back to the Windy City.

Jack Sanborn is heading back to Chicago. The Bears signed the 25-year-old linebacker to a one-year deal on Wednesday, bringing a familiar face back to the Windy City. 

The team officially announced Sanborn’s re-signing on Instagram with a simple, fitting caption: “The Sandman returns.”

It also came with a video greeting from Sanborn himself. “Hi Chicago, Jack here. Couldn’t be more excited to be back home and get some more wins with this club. Go Bears!” he said.

Sanborn slots back into a Bears linebacker room led by Devin Bush and D’Marco Jackson. His return gives defensive coordinator Dennis Allen a versatile depth option with intimate knowledge of the team’s defense.

Caleb Williams and Colston Loveland built quite a partnership last season for the Chicago Bears.

As the organization’s cornerstone quarterback, Williams had a big year for the Bears in his second season. The 24-year-old registered 330-of-568 completed passes for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 17 games. Williams also added 388 yards and three TDs on the ground on 77 carries.

Loveland, on the other hand, was a key addition to the Williams-led offense. Selected as the 10^th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the former Michigan Wolverines star quickly settled in under head coach Ben Johnson’s tutelage.

Loveland made 16 appearances for Chicago in his rookie year, logging 713 yards and six touchdowns on 58 catches.

Williams and Loveland figure to be the cornerstones of Chicago’s future. “Dubr,” Loveland commented.

Loveland added no context to his statement. However, the term “dub” is slang for “win,” and this appears to be the message Loveland is conveying here.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has wasted no time making up for lost time this offseason. After injuries limited her to just 13 games in 2025, Clark returned to the court at the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.

She led Team USA to a perfect 5-0 record and took home tournament MVP honors. The 24-year-old star averaged 11.6 points, 6.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game on 52.9% shooting. 

Clark will carry that momentum into a 2026 season where expectations are high after the Fever went 24-20 and reached the WNBA semifinals. 

A welcome development has since cleared the path forward for the entire league.

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. They are looking to improve on their impressive season last year. The Bears finished with an 11-6 record in 2025, their best record since 2018. They also won the NFC North title. However, Chicago failed to reach the Super Bowl, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round.

This offseason, head coach Ben Johnson and the Bears are looking to tighten up their roster. Unfortunately, they have already lost some key pieces in free agency. Most recently, the Bears bid farewell to Jonathan Owens. The undrafted safety will be playing for the Indiana Colts after he signed a one-year deal on Tuesday.

Crucial 2026 NFL Draft for the Chicago Bears

Despite losing a few guys in free agency, the Bears still made some key signings to bolster their squad. Coach Johnson and the front office added defensive players such as Coby Bryant, Devin Bush and Cam Lewis, to name a few.

On top of that, Chicago is now looking ahead to the 2026 NFL Draft, which will take place next month. The Bears currently have eight picks in the upcoming draft, including three in the top 60 (25th, 57th and 60th).

In anticipation of the excitement surrounding one of the biggest events of the offseason, the Bears announced plans for an NFL Draft Party.

The NFL Draft will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from April 23 to 25. This will be the first time that the NFL Draft has been held in Pittsburgh since 1948.

As for the Bears, their draft party will be held on April 23 at Soldier Field. The event is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. CT. The team has reminded fans, however, that gates will close 30 minutes after the Bears pick. 

Mock drafts are predicting that the Bears will choose a player to immediately help their defensive line. Despite Chicago leading the league in turnovers forced, they were still on the lower end of the league in overall defense.

ESPN’s mock draft has the Bears taking Zion Young, a defensive end for the Missouri Tigers. In a month, we will see who the Bears will end up taking in the draft.

Team USA closed out its campaign on Tuesday with an 84-70 win over Spain. The Americans finished with a perfect 5-0 record to win Group A.

Team USA has been dominant in this qualifying tournament. They finished the tournament first in points per game with 95.8. Team USA also has the highest plus-minus with +210.

As for Bueckers, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has found a running mate in Clark. The sharpshooting WNBA guards scored a total of 111 points this tournament. They found their touch and rhythm as the tournament progressed.

Sophie Cunningham has been in the WNBA for seven years now. She has spent six seasons with the Phoenix Mercury and one season with the Indiana Fever. The Missouri alum is known for her sharpshooting abilities and tenacity on the court. 

In her first season with the Fever, she averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals a game. On top of that, Cunningham was considered the squad’s enforcer, especially when some players bullied her teammates.

Cunningham’s toughness set the tone for the whole Fever squad, and her shooting kept them alive during clutch moments. However, her season was cut short because of a right knee injury that allowed her to play in only 30 games.

The former Missouri Tiger is taking her time in the offseason so she can come back in top shape next season.

The Chicago Bears have been busy reshaping their roster this offseason. General manager Ryan Poles added key pieces on both sides of the ball, trading for center Garrett Bradbury and signing safety Coby Bryant.

The frustration stems from Jones’ recent track record. Chicago selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He started 44 games over his first four seasons. 

In 2025, he fell out of the starting rotation in favor of Theo Benedet. He played just six games with four starts and posted a 55.5 PFF grade on 210 snaps. A knee injury later landed him on injured reserve.

Bears fans aren’t wrong to expect more. Chicago went 11-6 in 2025 and won the NFC North title for the first time in seven years. 

With expectations rising heading into 2026, Jones faces pressure to recapture the form that once made him a reliable starter.

One of the difficult decisions the Chicago Bears made this offseason was to trade DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills. The wide receiver was a key part of the Bears’ passing attack, having formed a triumvirate with tight end Colston Loveland and quarterback Caleb Williams.

In exchange, the Bears got a 2026 second-round draft pick and a 2026 fifth-round selection. The Bills also guaranteed $15.5 million of Moore’s $23.5 million base salary in 2028. 

Many were dismayed with the Bears decision to let go of Moore, including his teammates. Loveland, anmong others, was saddened by the news. Many of the fans also expressed their disappointment by commenting on the Bears’ announcement.

Poles revealed that Moore was kind enough to send his son, Mason, a video.

“I thank DJ, who sent him a video, told him not to be mad at dad because it was part of the business,” Poles said.

While Poles did explain that the trade was a business move, he mentioned Luther Burden III as a key factor. Drafting Burden III made it easier for the Bears to move on from Moore, explained Poles. 

Moore departs Chicago after having one of the lowest-performing campaigns in his career. He managed only 50 receptions and 682 yards in 2025, though he scored six touchdowns.

The Bills are Moore’s third team in his eight years in the NFL. He spent five seasons with the Carolina Panthers before his stint in Chicago.

The Chicago Bears have made difficult decisions this offseason, including trading wide receiver DJ Moore. The Bears sent Moore to the Buffalo Bills for a 2026 second-round pick. This decision has drawn a slew of reactions from both the fans and the players, including tight end Colston Loveland. 

While Moore was a vital part of the Bears’ offense, his 2025-26 performance was the lowest in his career. He did score six touchdowns, but only managed a career-low 50 receptions and 682 yards. One of the reasons the Bears parted ways with Moore is Luther Burden III.

To a certain extent, Moore’s trade was set in motion when the Bears drafted Burden III, who had a promising rookie season. “You look at what Luther did, again, that’s why you followed the draft board,” said general manager Ryan Poles.

Loveland, however, had no words to describe the unfortunate news stemming from the Bears’ decision to trade Moore. He replied to the video Moore posted on Instagram with a freezing face emoji.

Loveland forged a deep connection with Moore, who helped him settle into the NFL in his rookie year. Their chemistry was undeniable as together with quarterback Caleb Williams, they formed the Beas passing attack.

Caleb Williams returned to USC on Thursday to support a new set of Trojans eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft. The USC Trojans hosted Pro Day for 17 former players, who showcased their skills to multiple NFL scouts. The Chicago Bears quarterback was back at Allyson Felix Field to support them.

The Pro Day gave former Trojans a chance to impress NFL teams and follow the path Williams once took. The Bears star observed drills, met with coaches and encouraged players as they tried to boost their chances of being drafted. Williams was seen interacting with standout wide receivers Makai Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane, his 2023 USC teammates.

A transferee from Oklahoma, Williams led the USC Trojans to an 11-2 record in the 2022 season. This was a dramatic turnaround from the previous year’s 4-8 finish. That was enough to earn her a spot on Team USA for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.

Now fully healthy, Clark is wasting no time finding her groove. Her second outing for Team USA against Puerto Rico on Thursday showed flashes of the player the basketball world knows her to be.

Her best moment came with roughly 1:30 left in the third quarter. Her defender backed off, leaving Clark several steps behind the three-point line. She did not need an invitation. 

The two-time All-Star used a hesitation dribble and step-back to create space and launched a shot near the logo. It hit nothing but net, a familiar sight for Fever fans.

The Bears have been inconsistent defensively last season. They relied heavily on their offense en route to their 11-6 record. Despite being 29th in total defense, they still led the league in takeaways. 

Chicago added a key defensive piece this offseason. The Bears signed Devin Bush to a three-year deal worth $30 million. The addition of the former Cleveland Browns linebacker definitely bolsters their defense. 

Because of his performance the past season and the Bears’ need for a defensive boost, Bleacher Report graded this move a B-. Bush played all 17 games for the Browns, and he helped Cleveland become one of the best defensive teams last year.

“The Bears’ newest linebacker should help bolster the defense while also aligning perfectly with its identity as a turnover-driven unit,” said the Bleacher Report analysis.

The former 2019 10th overall pick had a career year last year for the Browns. He had three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a career best 125 tackles. On top of that, Bush also gained 164 yards off of interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns.

Head coach Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Dennis Allen are surely cooking up ways to lift the Bears. Despite having their best finish since 2018, their ultimate goal is to win it all next season.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has returned to competitive play after a grueling eight-month hiatus. The 24-year-old made her Team USA senior debut Wednesday in Puerto Rico. She helped the team kick off its 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament against Senegal.

For Clark, the appearance marks a major professional milestone and the end of a frustrating recovery. Recurring injuries sidelined her after just 13 games in the 2025 WNBA season. A right groin injury on July 15 cut her season short.

After months of intensive rehabilitation, the WNBA star said she has reached a point of physical and mental clarity. However, she was candid about the toll the recovery process took on her.

Reflecting on the disappointment of last season, Clark noted how difficult it was to see her preparation go to waste.

“Probably the part that kind of stunk about it is I felt like I put in so much time and so much energy going into last season,” she said in an interview. “And then obviously I only appeared in about 13 games and some of those, I probably wasn’t as healthy as I probably should have been.”

According to the 6-foot guard, her minor but recurring injuries created a frustrating cycle that drained her body and mind.

“It was these nagging injuries that continued to build up and build up — and dealt with one on top of the other,” she continued. “I think that probably almost played with my mind even more. Knowing I was going to be out for a set period of time, I was always trying to come back, always trying to come back, and then I’d get hurt in another way and then finally, obviously, shutting it down.”

Caitlin Clark leaves no regrets 

Clark spent the offseason working with the Fever’s medical and development staff to regain her health. She said the long rehabilitation period not only helped her rebuild physically but also helped restore confidence in her body. 

“When you’ve dealt with so many little soft tissue injuries, you can get in your head a little bit,” she admitted. “I think, at least past couple months, I’ve really put that behind me and really just feel confident in what I’ve been able to build and where my body’s at. And more than anything, where my game’s at. I know I’ve put in as much time as I can truly can.”

Despite the long layoff, Clark believes she has improved and is ready to make an impact in the World Cup Qualifying Tournament. She will play alongside top WNBA players such as Angel Reese, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Paige Bueckers. They will compete in a five-game slate in Puerto Rico from March 11 to 17.

After Senegal, Team USA will face Puerto Rico on Thursday, Italy on Saturday, New Zealand on Sunday and Spain next Tuesday. With such a packed schedule, Clark’s fitness and stamina will surely be put to the test.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is putting in the work ahead of what promises to be a massive 2026 WNBA campaign.

A torn MCL forced the 29-year-old to play just 30 games in her first year alongside Caitlin Clark.

Her impact was immediate. Cunningham averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game, shooting a career-high 43.2% from 3-point range.

“Ok, I’m dying. I just did a mountain for conditioning for the first time since college,” she said in the clip. “And if you don’t know that, God bless your soul. But it’s — you start at one sprint, two down the backs, two down backs, all the way to 10. And then once you get the 10, you go to 10. And then you go nine down backs, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. And I’m like, officially dying, holy cow.”

The seven-year WNBA veteran added, “There’s certain things in sports that never get easier. And conditioning is one of them. Officially dying.”

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has taken the WNBA by storm since she arrived. The sharpshooting guard is already a two-time WNBA All-Star and a Rookie of the Year winner. On top of that, she is also one of the most well-known names in basketball.

Even before going professional, Clark had already caught the attention of the basketball world. During her years as an Iowa Hawkeye, she broke the all-time NCAA Division I scoring record among men and women. She surpassed “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s 54-year record of 3,667 points.

Unfortunately for Clark, she had a down year in her second season. She was riddled with injuries that caused her to play only 13 games.

Clark last suited up for the USA Women’s National team during the FIBA U-19 World Cup in Hungary. She helped the squad win the gold medal in the 2021 tournament. She also had an opportunity to get her first senior squad experience in 2024.

The six-foot guard was invited to participate in the national training camp for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, she was playing in the NCAA tournament at the time and wasn’t able to participate.

This time around, Clark was named to the team and participated in their training camp in December. Despite being away from organized basketball for nearly eight months, she was named to the final roster.

Chicago Bears left guard Joe Thuney could barely contain his excitement over an upcoming reunion next season. 

Before winning the inaugural NFL Protector of the Year Award at NFL Honors in February, Thuney built his foundation at NC State. He played in 41 games with the Wolfpack and earned First-Team All-America honors in 2015. 

The 33-year-old arrived in Chicago last season as a four-time Super Bowl champion and quickly proved his worth. He allowed zero sacks, posted an 87.7 PFF pass-blocking grade and helped the Bears slash their sack total from 68 to just 24. 

Thuney was beyond thrilled when the Bears made the move to bring his former NC State teammate to the Windy City.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has been sidelined for nearly eight months due to an injury she suffered last year. Despite that, she was still named an All-Star in her second season in the league.

In just her rookie year, she took the WNBA by storm. Clark was the first overall pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft. She averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists in her first year. Clark won the Rookie of the Year award as she led the Indiana Fever to a 20-20 record. 

Clark immediately brought the winning mentality to Indiana. She led the team to their first winning record and playoff appearance since 2016.

Unfortunately, her injury caused her to only play in 13 games last season. Since then, she has been busy working hard to get back on the court as soon as she can.

Even though she was sidelined last season, Clark was still a big asset to women’s basketball. Which is why she was called up to the USA Women’s National Basketball team. In December 2025, she participated in her first senior national training camp.

However, this wasn’t her first opportunity to play for the senior national team. She received an invitation to the 2024 Summer Olympics training camp. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend because she was playing in the NCAA that year.

Fast-forward to 2026, and Clark has been selected to represent the United States at the FIBA World Cup qualification tournament in Puerto Rico. This will be her first time representing Team USA at the seniot level. She previously played for the U.S. in the FIBA U-19 World Cup.

“I don’t want to call it nerves but excitement to play,” Clark said after practice on Monday. “This is a different stage. You’re not going to come out here and be the star player. That’s not how it’s going to be for USA Basketball.”

This will be Clark’s first organized basketball action since her injury. She shared that she feels 100% healthy but admits that it will take time to feel like herself again.

“I feel like I’ve put myself in the best possible shape I could be in at this point,” Clark. “The first game is the hardest, but once you get in kind of a flow of things, you figure things out.”

There is no better way for Clark to test her readiness than the national stage. Both Fever and WNBA fans will be tuned in to see her back in action.

Team USA will face Senegal at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on Wednesday. The 24-year-old Fever guard makes her debut on the court following a rigorous rehabilitation process. Clark last played a competitive game on July 15, when she injured her right groin. A series of lower-body injuries limited her to 13 games during the 2025 WNBA season.

Photos show a notable change in Clark’s jersey. Fans familiar with her trademark No. 22 saw her wearing No. 12 instead.  The change stems from traditional FIBA regulations, which require players to wear jersey numbers from 4 to 15. 

This rule was originally intended to help referees signal fouls clearly, avoiding confusion with lower numbers like 1, 2 or 3. FIBA eliminated the rule in 2014, but USA Basketball still uses numbers 4–15 to preserve tradition.

In a recent interview, Clark said wearing the U.S. jersey carries special meaning because of the program’s history and legendary players.

“This is my first time on the senior national team, so that poses a different aspect,” the two-time WNBA All-Star said. “I feel like I was just a young girl that was watching these senior national teams or watching the teams at the Olympics or the World Cup and, obviously now being 24 and being able to put on this jersey. 

“You know, any person that’s on this team, or ever has an opportunity to wear this jersey – how many amazing players have put this jersey on before you, and the dominance that they’ve had – whether it’s the World Cup qualifier, the World Cup, or, you know, the Olympics,” she added.

Clark, Team USA Preparing for FIBA World Cup

From March 11 to 17, 24 national teams will be competing in four global qualifying tournaments. Each tournament features six teams. In Puerto Rico, the field includes Team USA, host nation Puerto Rico, Italy, Spain, Senegal, and New Zealand. Other tournaments will take place in Turkey, France and China.

These qualifying games will determine the remaining 11 spots at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 in Berlin, Germany, from Sept. 4 to 13. They will also serve as a critical evaluation period for players eyeing the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle. 

Four teams have already secured 2026 World Cup entry by winning their respective tournaments. The 2025 continental champions earning direct entry are Belgium (EuroBasket Women), the United States (AmeriCup), Australia (Asia Cup), and Nigeria (AfroBasket). Germany qualified automatically as the host. 

These teams are still playing in the qualifying tournaments to prepare for the World Cup in Berlin, while others fight for spots. 

Clark is no stranger to international competition. She played in the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2019 and 2021, winning gold in both tournaments. The Fever standout was named the tournament’s MVP in her second appearance.

Kmet has been a steady presence in Chicago over five seasons, averaging 46 receptions and 512 yards per year. The 27-year-old played a key role in the Bears’ remarkable turnaround last season. He hauled in 30 receptions for 347 yards and 2 touchdowns across 16 games. 

Chicago finished 11-6, captured the NFC North title and earned the franchise’s first postseason win since 2010. 

But beyond the wins and the stats, Kmet has always valued the bonds built inside the building. He considers his teammates brothers, and saying goodbye to one of the most beloved figures in that locker room hit close to home.

Moore gave the Bears three dependable seasons, appearing in all 51 regular-season games. He finished his tenure with 244 catches, 3,012 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.

The 28-year-old accepted the business side of the move but made sure to leave Chicago with grace.

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for the new NFL year as they look to make moves this offseason. In 2025  they got their best finish since 2018 with a record of 11 wins and 6 losses. The Bears also won the NFC North title for the first time in seven years.

Despite that, the former fifth-round pick still found his way back to Chicago. Jones and the Bears reached an agreement for a one-year extension worth $10 million.

Jones played and started in all the games in his rookie season. However, he has struggled with injuries ever since. Injuries may have played a role in his poor performances last year, but he has a chance to bounce back.

Bleacher Report gave a harsh C- to the Bears for this move. Jones only played in six games and started in four last season, which is why a one-year deal seems reasonable. For Chicago, this is not a long-term gamble. For Jones, he still has a lot to prove as his performance last year won’t secure his position in the lineup.

Despite the harsh reality check for the Bears, they are looking to make solid moves this offseason. They aim to get another shot at the Super Bowl, and they’re surely hoping that Jones gets to help them with their goal.

Even with her professional success, Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham has maintained strong ties to her Missouri roots. The 29-year-old guard, from Columbia, played college basketball at the University of Missouri from 2015 to 2019.

Cunningham became one of the most successful players in Missouri Tigers history. She earned multiple All-SEC honors during that period. She also finished her college career with 2,187 points, the most ever scored in Missouri women’s basketball history.

The 6-foot-1 guard was drafted 13th overall by the Phoenix Mercury in 2019. This marked the highest draft position ever for a Mizzou player. After six seasons with Phoenix, she joined the Indiana Fever in 2025. She immediately emerged as a team leader and top performer.

Tensions escalated in the third quarter after Sun guard Jacy Sheldon and Fever star Caitlin Clark exchanged words following a hard foul.

Another Sun player, Marina Mabrey, then shoved Clark to the floor, further escalating the game’s intensity. Fans believed Cunningham retaliated by grabbing Sheldon’s head as the Sun player attempted a layup.

The former Missouri star suffered a knee injury during an August 17 game against the Sun. Cunningham was later diagnosed with a torn right MCL, forcing her to miss the remainder of the 2025 season. Cunningham, now an unrestricted free agent, hinted at the possibility of leaving Indiana to seek the highest possible contract.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is fired up about the team’s latest offseason moves as the legal tampering period of NFL free agency opened on Monday. 

Head coach Ben Johnson’s squad is aiming higher in 2026 after a breakthrough campaign last season. That magical run included the NFC North title, a first playoff win since 2010 and a 12-5 finish. 

Williams was at the center of it all. The second-year signal-caller threw for a franchise-record 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns against just seven interceptions. He also spearheaded six fourth-quarter comebacks along the way. 

The 24-year-old is getting even more help this upcoming season, and he can’t wait to get back on the gridiron with his new teammates.

NFL: Caleb Williams hyped after Chicago Bears land Coby Bryant, Devin Bush

The Bears wasted no time reshaping their defense in the 2026 offseason. They agreed to terms with Coby Bryant on a three-year, $40 million deal on Monday. 

The 26-year-old Super Bowl champion was one of the most coveted safeties on the free agent market. He recorded 66 tackles and four interceptions in 15 games last season for the Seattle Seahawks.

The Bears kept moving and also agreed to sign Devin Bush to a three-year, $30 million deal. The former No. 10 overall pick turned in the best season of his career with the Browns in 2025. He notched 125 tackles, three interceptions and two sacks across 17 starts.

Meanwhile, Williams wasted no time welcoming his new teammates. The second-year quarterback reposted news of both signings on his Instagram Stories, making his excitement clear. Williams was left speechless by the news, opting to share the signing announcements without any caption. 

The moves give Williams even more reason to be confident heading into 2026. Chicago’s offense ranked sixth in the NFL in total yards per game (379.2) last season, and the defense now features two proven playmakers capable of creating turnovers.

Williams has stayed invested throughout the offseason. Earlier this week, he reacted to the Bears’ trade for New England Patriots center Garrett Bradbury.

Ben Johnson’s squad also added defensive tackle Neville Gallimore and re-signed linebacker D’Marco Jackson. 

The Bears’ front office is committed to building a complete roster around their franchise quarterback. If the early offseason is any indication, Williams has plenty of reasons to be excited about 2026.
