Sophie Cunningham has been appreciated by the Indiana Fever fans since she arrived via trade last season. In her first season in Indiana, Cunningham averaged 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds. She also shot career highs of 43.2% from three and 46.9% from the field.
Cunningham has been the enforcer for Fever teammates and was the steady shooter they relied on last year. Unfortunately, she suffered a season-ending injury during their game against the Connecticut Sun.
After a collision during the game, Cunningham tore her right MCL, effectively ending her season with the Fever. The seven-year veteran is currently a free agent, but Indiana fans are pushing to have her back next season.

Indiana Fever: Sophie Cunningham stuns in new video
Recently, the WNBA players’ union and the league reached an agreement for the new Collective Bargaining Agreement. This means the new WNBA season will proceed as scheduled, and teams can now begin preparing for the upcoming campaign.
As for Cunningham, she has been busy this offseason. The Former Missouri Tigers star has been using the break to recover from her MCL tear. She even lost 16.5 lbs at one point in her rehab.
Of course, Cunningham is also using the offseason to relax and recharge. She recently shared a video of herself swimming on the beach.
