Caleb Williams had a forgettable performance in the Chicago Bears’ divisional round loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. There were flashes of brilliance from the second-year quarterback throughout the game. However, Williams ultimately failed to lead Chicago to a win at Soldier Field. The former USC Trojans star finished with 23-of-42 completed passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Williams also added 40 yards on the ground on five carries.
Williams threw a miraculous TD pass late in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but the Bears still came up short in the extra period. The Rams held on to escape with a 20-17 victory, booking their spot in the conference championship game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams steps out after divisional round loss
Williams was out and about on Monday night, barely 24 hours after the Bears’ season-ending loss to L.A. The 24-year-old decided to step out and make a public appearance. This came in the form of attending the Chicago Blackhawks’ game against the Winnipeg Jets at United Center.
Williams drew attention as he sat rinkside with Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong. The Bears QB was all smiles as he watched the Blackhawks secure a 2-0 win to improve to 20-22-7 on the season.

Williams led Chicago to an 11-6 record to clinch the NFC North title for the first time since 2018. They entered the NFL playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
