The Bears have options available on the free agent market when the new season opens on March 11 at 4 p.m. Eastern, but will be down one potential suitor, with center Tyler Biadasz agreeing to terms with the Los Angeles Chargers on a three-year contract worth $30 million, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. The Washington Commanders released Biadasz to free up $8.3 million in cap space.
The Chicago Bears will need to look elsewhere to find their next center

Despite Biadasz appearing to be off the table, the Bears have other options available to sign. Free agent centers Connor McGovern of the Buffalo Bills (previous salary $7.45 million, seven years pro), Graham Glasgow of the Detroit Lions ($6.66 million, 10 years pro), and Ethan Pocic of the Cleveland Browns ($6 million, nine years pro) would offer suitable veteran replacements.
Center Ryan Bates would also offer a familiar option, as he spent the past two seasons with the Bears and played 16 games on the offensive line last season.
