To say the Chicago Bulls are not doing well on the court would be a massive understatement. While the league has a third of the teams not trying to win games and better their draft position, there are some teams taking it to a whole other level. Chicago has had a lot of tough headlines, and one Hall of Famer took a shot at them ahead of their game. Let’s take a closer look at who it is and what they said.

As the telecast for the Bulls vs. Knicks game was beginning, Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Clyde Frazier took a shot at Chicago.

“I was talking to some friends, man, and I was saying eradicated, obliterated, devastated. They thought [that] I was talking about Iran. But I was talking about the Bulls.”

While that felt like an attack, the Bulls followed it up by being outscored 38-16 in the first quarter. This game includes the Knicks not having Karl-Anthony Towns playing. Entering Friday’s game, the Bulls are 5-19 since the trade deadline. With the Jaden Ivey situation and the inability to win games, the franchise has been a bit of a punching bag in recent months.

Chicago is one of the teams hoping for the 2026 NBA Draft to get them in a good spot. However, they won too much early on so they will not have good odds to win the lottery. Many of the mock drafts have them selecting around the 10th pick, so the front office is hoping the ping-pong balls fall in their favor and make these last few months worth it.
