The Chicago Bears revamped the offensive line last offseason, to outstanding returns.
In head coach Ben Johnson’s first season at the helm, after signing top free agent center Drew Dalman, and trading for veteran guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, the interior of the Chicago Bears’ offensive line became the driving force of a franchise renaissance. After all, Caleb Williams went for being sacked 68 times as a rookie, to just 2024 this past season, which is a remarkable turnaround.
Beyond keeping Williams upright, the offensive line helped power backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai into becoming the NFL’s sixth-leading rushing offense.
Chicago Bears’ Drew Dalman disappoints in playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams

For the most part, Dalman was stellar this season.
The former Atlanta Falcons stalwart this season, allowing just one sack, one quarterback hit, and 24 quarterback pressures as the centerpiece of the Bears’ revamped line.
Dalman was even voted to the Pro Bowl, where he’ll represent the Bears next month.
However, against the Rams, Dalman regressed. Dramatically.
According to Pro Football Focus, Dalman was the Bears’ second-lowest graded offensive player, garnering a 44.1 overall grade.
In the biggest game of the Bears’ season, the overtime loss that wound up ending it, Dalman wasn’t the same player he had been for much of the 2025 campaign.
