The Chicago Bulls have been arguably the most active team ahead of the 2026 NBA trade deadline, moving off of a lot of rotational pieces for future assets. This has left their current available roster a bit thin as trades continue to be pending and players on either side of the deal are not able to play until it is officially cleared by the league office. Chicago needed to get some players added to the roster ahead of their upcoming game against the Toronto Raptors, so let’s take a closer look at who they just signed.
The Chicago Bulls sign Mac McClung to a two-way contract

The Chicago Bulls signed guard Mac McClung to a two-way contract on Thursday. McClung has been part of the Windy City Bulls for a majority of the season, being part of 24 games. He averaged 25.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.3 steals in 33.0 minutes per game. In the regular season, he averaged a G League high 27.1 points per game. While he has been stepping up in G League, he is more notable for winning the previous three NBA Slam Dunk Contest titles.
With the Bulls having a game later today in Toronto, McClung will be available to play. He is one of three Bulls players signed to a two-way contract, joining Yuki Kawamura and Lachlan Olbrich. McClung will be wearing No. 5 in the NBA and will be expected to get some serious minutes with the rotation being in flux until trades become finalized. It will be intriguing to see what he is able to bring to the Bulls after the locker room has completely changed over the previous few days.
