Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is exploring more ventures outside the WNBA.
The seven-year veteran appeared in 30 games in her first season with the Caitlin Clark-led Fever. She averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.
She helped Indiana improve from a 20-20 record in 2024 to a 24-20 finish in 2025, the best mark in franchise history.
Her impact went beyond the box score. Cunningham added toughness, heart and grit to a team on the rise, quickly earning a reputation as the Fever’s enforcer.
Apart from her presence on the court, the 29-year-old likes to make just as big an impact off of it.

WNBA: Fever star invites fans to join first annual Sophie Cunningham Golf Classic
Cunningham always finds ways to connect with her supporters. This time, she invited everyone to bond over a round of golf for a good cause.
The Indiana Fever guard announced details for the 1st Annual Sophie Cunningham Golf Classic, scheduled for April 11-12 at the Margaritaville Lake Resort in Lake of the Ozarks.
The inaugural charity tournament aims to support and recognize high school girls’ athletics. Sponsorships and team spots are currently available, with registration set at $1,000.
Cunningham kept her pitch simple. “Come hang with me and play some golf,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Golf is a relatively new passion for the Fever enforcer. When she is not on the court, the Missouri native tends to her horses on her mini farm. But she discovered a love for the links after caddying for teammate Caitlin Clark at The Annika pro-am last year.
That selfless spirit carries over everywhere Cunningham goes. Whether she is competing for the Fever or organizing a charity tournament, she consistently finds ways to lift others while doing what she loves.
