“Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers have been taking over for Team USA during the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. The guard duo is currently two of the three leading scorers of Team USA this tournament.
Bueckers is averaging 10.6 points and 2.2 assists per game, while Clark is averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 assists. Both players are averaging at least 50.0% from the field and 40.0% from three. Both have been pivotal to the squad’s success throughout the tournament.
Team USA closed out its campaign on Tuesday with an 84-70 win over Spain. The Americans finished with a perfect 5-0 record to win Group A.

Team USA has been dominant in this qualifying tournament. They finished the tournament first in points per game with 95.8. Team USA also has the highest plus-minus with +210.
As for Bueckers, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has found a running mate in Clark. The sharpshooting WNBA guards scored a total of 111 points this tournament. They found their touch and rhythm as the tournament progressed.
